Or, at least that’s what I assume the Fox News headline of this news item is going to be. Obama released his 2010 budget today, and guess what’s getting no more money from this godless administration?

“President Obama released his FY 2010 budget today and called for at least $164 million in funding for a new teen pregnancy prevention initiative. This includes competitive grants for evidence-based programs, research and evaluation, and an authorization for $50 million in new mandatory teen pregnancy prevention grants to states, tribes, and territories. The budget eliminates funding for Community-Based Abstinence Education and the mandatory Title V Abstinence Education program.”

No more abstinence education?! Is this country even ready for the tidal wave of babies we’re about to experience because of this decision? But in all seriousness, there was something called a MANDATORY abstinence education program before? Was this actually taught in schools? I ask because, as I may have mentioned before, I went to a small Christian high school where sex ed consisted of telling the student body that anyone caught doing anything past hand holding would be expelled immediately. I wish I was kidding.

I’m not really sure if this is going to be noticeable enough to cause an uproar, but teabaggers have to be getting tired of bitching about health care by now, and this just might be the pick-me-up they need to keep their anger flowing. I can only imagine what the protest signs are going to be like for this one.
