Does the Alaska Dispatch have nothing better to write these days?

According to CNN’s “Political Ticker” blog, a new poll conducted by CNN and Opinion Research Corp. shows that about two thirds of Americans think Sarah Palin’s not a typical politician and that she’s a good role model for women, but 7 in 10 think she’s not qualified to be president. Republicans are split on that question, though; 52 percent agree that she’s qualified, and the rest don’t. The poll has an error margin of +/- 3 points on questions asked of all respondents, and +/- 4.5 points for those asked only of Republicans. The poll is quite detailed, so get more juicy stats here.

So let’s actually try and break this down. Although I’m warning you people I might get considerably dumber trying to do this.  66% of America thinks that she’s not a typical politician, check.  70% don’t think she’s qualified to be President, check.  And then whatever percent of Americans who are Republican (let’s say 48%), half of those people (24% of registered voters) think she’s not qualified as well.

What does this exactly mean?  Sarah Palin should be in porn.
