Representative Alan Grayson (D-FL) recently made a speech where he said, “The Repubican heatlh care plan is for you not to get sick, and if you do, die quickly.” This angered many non-pro-death Republicans who demanded this apology from Grayson, which I’ve posted above.

Grayson most definitely apologizes, but he does so not to Republicans, instead to the 47,000 people who have died because of a lack of heath care in America. That’s a real number, not something just plucked out of oblivion.

I’m not really sure how Republicans can legitimately adopt an “everything is fine” stance here. They say they want to reform health care also, yet they’re doing everything in their power to kill it because…well, I’m not exactly sure. Recently we’ve been getting upset at Democrats who have been idiotic enough to not support a public option, yet we forget about an ENTIRE PARTY who refuses to do so for absolutely no good reason.
