Students from all of the UC schools descended on UCLA yesterday to protest the massive increase to their tuition of 32%. Yes, that’s in ONE YEAR. We all know that the UC schools are public, and that California has zero dollars because they refuse to legalize weed, but still, that is absolutely insane.

Supposedly the school has already cut over 300 classes in order to raise money, but that wasn’t enough, so they instituted the tuition hike, and anyone who couldn’t pay was told they had to drop out.

I’ll be interested to see what, if any, national news coverage this gets.
