Here’s just a quick post to start your Thanksgiving Day.
Admittedly I received this video in a chain email and feared some 13 year old conservative talking points machine with comments from conservatives saying “See!? Even HE gets it!” but in reality this kid is just smarter than all of us, liberal or conservative. So chew on this before you chew on your Thanksgiving Day meal.
Now that I’ve thoroughly depressed you… Happy Thanksgiving!
I mean, how can you argue that? How can you possibly argue against a Republican stump speech turned RAP!? Impossible!
The guy literally hit every topic imagineable, painting an unpatriotic brush over all those who dare consider themselves liberal. I’m not quite sure that’s what Jefferson would’ve said about Adams, even during the days the two loathed each other more than Michele Bachmann and logic, but whatever.
God, I hope liberals don’t make a video in retaliation. Any video that simply says the other side is wrong as their argument isn’t helpful.
But congrats to conservatives for finding their Will.I.Am. Perhaps now liberals will find their slightly messed in the head leader to start marches for the public option.

Why is it that everyone who isn’t the President thinks we need to do something for this country? I’m not saying that there aren’t things we could do to improve our great nation, but I don’t get the urgency that many opponents to the current administration attach to the issue. Now Lou Dobbs, former CNN host who left his nightly platform in order to reach the American people, is throwing his hat into the ring.
“For the first time I’m actually listening to [people who want him to run for office]. … I don’t think I have the nature for it. … But we’ve got to do something for this country.”
Doesn’t he realize that if he were to be put in charge of ANYTHING, there would be an anti-thesis to Dobbs just waiting to take his spot, because… something needs to be done. Continue Reading »

The city of Cleveland has done anything and everything to make LeBron James feel like the king he has been made out to be, including hanging a giant banner across the street from Quicken Loans Arena. The current banner is of LeBron doing his traditional arms wide open stance he does before games with the slogan We Are All Witnesses. In an attempt to push a new line of athletic clothing, Nike would like to change the banner to an image of James shirtless, looking pissed off next to the new slogan Prepare For Combat.
Cleveland rejected the image, as they should have.
Reasons for banning the image ranged from black stereotypes (he has a few tattoos on his body) to the snubbing of the word Cleveland or even Cavaliers, which the current banner has. While those reasons are valid, the main concern for me, as it should be for Nike, is the word combat. Continue Reading »
Personally, I thought we were done with this whole debunking evolution nonsense. It really seemed the only people who even questioned evolution anymore were GOP candidates for the Presidency and people who are in love with the joke, “My grandpa wasn’t a monkey!” completely missing the point.
But former teen idol, Kirk Cameron, is on the warpath against evolution, passing out copies of Darwin’s Origin Of Species with a new, special introduction to the book, supposedly debunking evolution.
The group who’s putting out these books claims that Darwin’s thinking was sexist, racist and what inspired Hitler’s Nazi campaign, which of course led to the Holocaust. Because the Bible is just filled with feminist ideology and equal rights. Not to mention just how benevolent that God fellow was portrayed in the Old Testament.
My favorite part in the video is when Mr. Cameron refers to evolution as Atheistic and then CNN shows the biology professor who just so happens to be a devout Catholic. I guess that should disprove Cameron’s theory, but then again in his mind the biology professor is probably an undercover agent of Satan.

I was overtly pro-Palin yesterday, so this remix I found on Indecisionforever.com should balance things out.

If the headline didn’t make your head explode from sheer bewilderment, read on.
Sarah Palin, currently on a massive media blitz for her book, recently took a stand for a form of women’s rights she believes in. Recently, Sarah Palin graced the cover of Newsweek looking like she was about ready to go for a run. That’s because she thought she was posing for Runner’s World magazine. Here’s her full quote.
“The choice of photo for the cover of this week’s Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this “news” magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner’s World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness – a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention – even if out of context.”
Right on, Sister! Continue Reading »
